A few hundred feet of the runway still exists at the south end of runway 28, (A heading of 280° to the pilot landing here). Just a little to left/north, along the beach, Navy Landing Craft landed in 1952 from LSTs on exercise in Lake Washington.

Between the end of the runway and the lake is a magazine that once housed explosives and ammunition. I wonder what is behind that steel door now.
