Hard to put down
Writer has a way of making his characters become real. When Bob hides under the floor of a brothel to escape the viet cong, it seems so real that I felt like I was there. Heck, I even fell in love with Mandy and Leslie.( but Leslies' the one) This is an excellent story, very well told. It's not only a love story, but also a story with intrigue and everyday emotions. I didn't want to read it, but my girlfriend insisted, and am I GLAD she did! Morning Side of the Mountain is a heart felt story and one not soon to be forgotten. If there is any place that the author falls short on, is that (in my opinon) he ends his love scenes to soon -but, thats what we have imaginations for- A must read. A feel good story. I believe I see a TV movie here!!!
