CONVERTING  USNS KAWISHIWI  T-AO-146 into a REEF

COULD HAVE  BEEN A REEF IN YOUR FAVORITE AREA
The Kawishiwi was commissioned on July 6, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. This is how she looked.
Her whole career was in the Pacific.  Her guns were removed after the Vietnam War.

If Kawishiwi had been chosen to become a reef, over 50 holes would have been cut into her hull to allow the water to sweep in.
All her UNREP rigs would be stripped - perhaps the main mast could have been moved - way down and saved.
Actually, all flags would be gone.
