Near the end of the
WAR OF 1812,
"Americas First War"
(After the Revolution)

a British Truce Ship in the
Baltimore, Maryland Harbor to
gain the release of a prisoner.
Before returning to shore, the
British Bombarded

He was here inspired to
Write the words to

The song "YANKEE DOODLE" was recognized as "OUR SONG"
from the Revolution, through this 1st war of our established country.
